If you're anything like me, the last thing you want to do is wade your way through huddled masses of perverts at the local skin-flick shop, only to find a shitty selection and trumped up rental fees. Thankfully, there are sites like DansMovies Premium, who specialize in bringing you the best in XXX DVDs. The tour teases you by showing cover shots of the entire archive, which amounts to just over 12,000 movies. To further entice you, they've added in some hot clips. One thing that really stands out to me is the diversity of the titles. They have all the regulars, anal, gang bang, etc. But there were some oddities, too, like "Fat Beach Patrol" and "Harold Bangs a Midget." Once you've entered your login credentials, you're automatically redirected to a page that sports a sleek, modern, and, perhaps most importantly of all, user-friendly layout. At the top of the page, there's a small horizontal menu, which used to access the search engine, your personal user-settings, and your bookmarks.

They've added a nice series of drop-down menus to the lefthand side of the page. From here you can browse content by either Category, Studio or Series. Impressively, there are 79 categories, 192 studios, and more DVD series than I can count. Or, if you'd prefer, you can browse by most downloaded, rating, or upload date. Speaking of which, they seem to be adding in excess of 10 new titles per day, which more than lives up to their tour promises. If they can keep up the pace, they'll have an archive that'll rival many of the big boys.

The different feels and niches of each studio keep me from getting bored. They were also good enough to include a top-10 list of the most popular titles. If it's accurate, it would appear that the majority of the user-bases' tastes are pretty fucking tame. The list is composed mostly of barely legal, anal, and interracial titles. This is surprising on a site that hosts such racy flicks as, "Dirty Feet Fetishes" and "Fuck me, I'm fat!" I suppose these titles are a 'just in case' type of deal, put there specifically for freaks like us. Well, hallelujah!

In total, there are 12417 DVDs, split up into over 50,000 separate scenes. An in-depth examination of the archives reveals that they update once a month, usually dumping 6 or more movies at a time. One of the most impressive aspects about this site is the large number of studios and niches they cover. There are a lot of titles here I can honestly say I've never seen before, and perhaps that can be attributed to the fact that many of these are the work of obscure foreign studios. I've noticed quite a few scenes that were obviously European. Nevertheless, the quality seems to be fairly consistent across the board.

Movies can be downloaded in several different formats. There's both a high and low quality Windows Media option, as well as files for the i-Pod and i-Pod 3g. Play-back quality wasn't extraordinary, and could probably be considered average at best. But the scenes were ultra-clear, and free of the tell-tale graininess and excessive artifacts of a shitty mediocre job. Not to mention these babies are probably a dream come true for anyone with a slower connection. It's worth noting, to, that downloads were fairly quick, and the embedded flash player worked like a charm. I also really did the scene selector, which lets you choose by a large series of thumbnails tucked away beneath the player.

DansMovies Premium is a solid, reliable source for adult DVD titles in a variety of kinks. I feel all of this is made up for by raw statistics: 12,000+ DVD titles, 192 different studios, 80 different niches. Hell, the selection and off-beat titles alone are, in my opinion, totally worth the price of admission. Oh, and did I mention regular daily updates of 10+ new DVD titles? If they can keep going at that pace, they'll soon have an archive that will rival the top DVD archive sites in the industry.
